WebBritannia is an affluent residential neighbourhood in the southwest quadrant of Calgary, Alberta, Canada.It is bounded by Elbow Drive to the east, 50 Avenue S to the south, Elbow River and Riverdale Park to the west and Britannia Drive to the north. The area was annexed to the City of Calgary in 1910, and Britannia was established in 1956. WebRiver Park, Sandy Beach, Britannia Slopes, Riveredge Park and the Lower Reservoir area collectively form a regional park along Calgary’s Elbow River. O2 was commissioned to develop an over-arching vision for the regional green space, develop long-term park management strategies, and to create a holistic identity for the area.
