Also included is a Digital Code for the entire series. All episodes of each season occupy four BD-50 discs. I’m very grateful that Warner Brothers didn’t skimp on the packaging. Making the bd quality just above dvd, not true db quality.

WebJan 28, 2012 · Smallville doesn’t look terrible on DVD, but it’s disheartening that such a lavish box set doesn’t at least include the early episodes with the fresh remasters they so desperately need. On the plus side, those of us who have already purchased each set individually know exactly what to expect here. WebSeason 1 may not have that much difference since it was originally filmed in 35mm with standard-def special effects so unless WB is going straight back to the original film masters and creating new HD effects around them, then what we'll get on Blu-Ray will essentially just be upscaled from the DVD counterpart.
